Garden Cottage sleeps two people and has been lovingly renovated into a self-contained, detached and beautifully presented private cottage nestled in the garden of Emily and Aaron’s home.
Located in a residential area of the Georgian town of North Walsham, the cottage is ideally situated for accessing the vibrant city of Norwich, the beauty of the Norfolk Broads and the breathtaking North Norfolk coastline, all of which can be visited via train, with the local train station being just a three minute walk away. The Bittern Line stops at West Runton, Sheringham, Cromer, Hoveton and Wroxham and Norwich. Beautiful local beaches and access to the Norfolk Broads are just a ten-minute drive from Garden cottage, and Norwich is a thirty-minute drive.
The town of North Walsham provides ample local amenities; local shops, and supermarkets are within walking distance and some of North Norfolk’s finest restaurants are just short car journeys away, along with plenty of fantastic casual places to eat out. The local leisure centre with a modern public swimming pool is just a two-minute walk away. There are scenic local walks which are perfect for ramblers and cyclists. The Coastal Path can be accessed via train also.

The lounge area boasts a wall-mounted widescreen smart tv loaded with Netflix and on-demand services. The cottage is equipped with free WiFi and is situated in an area of good mobile reception, making it a perfect place to work from if visiting for work and business.
The trunk is stocked with maps and guides to the local area to help you plan your visit.
The bedroom features an elegant solid wood double bed and an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. We provide fluffy towels and luxurious high thread count bed linen to ensure you sleep comfortably.
Bifold doors lead from the lounge area to the cottage’s own private and enclosed garden which has been paved with Indian sandstone. An outdoor dining set makes it the perfect area to relax outside with a glass of wine in the evenings.
We have lovingly converted the cottage with luxury in mind, with exposed beams added into the high ceilings and high-quality craftsmanship to create three beautiful rooms and a private garden to enjoy during your stay. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that North Norfolk has to offer.
Garden Cottage comes with an off-road parking space which is solely for guests’ use. Parking is located on a shared driveway with the main house, and we ask that guests allow access for the owner’s cars at all times.
